The original house and barn burnt down years ago but the 160 acres was originally purchased in 1883 for $4.00 by my great grandfather William Harold Hyde. Eventually all of the Hyde boys died off and Carmody's farmed the land up until just recently when we sold it to the Heuterites (?). We might be coming back in the Summer 2009 to visit the Oldham Saloon which I understand was built by my great uncle, Frank Hyde. What are the nightly/weekly rates for your rental home?
